The Happy Bin website by CyberiumThe Happy Bin:  This site is used by schools participating in a project run by environmental education consultancy Green Egg, to help primary schools reduce their rubbish levels and educate children about recycling and composting. This brilliant and successful series of projects relies on a web site that allows pupils and teachers to input their rubbish weight every week and plot its reduction. The site automatically produces graphs of the data using javascript, and boasts a blog so each school can write about what it does and upload pictures. There have been six projects so far in different areas and a different edition of the same site is used for each project. We have produced a similar site for the fair trade schools project in Ceredigion, Wales, and a site for Vagabondi Puppets, which supports the  Happy Bin by touring a puppet show round the schools.
